Whilst we may not call our lovely team ‘baristas’, they certainly are trained to that standard.
The term ‘barista’ initially orginitated in Italy, where it means ‘bartender’. Baristas work with espresso coffee machines, which can actually be quite tricky to get right, due to the detailed machines.
Baristas need to have a sharp mind to remember the recipes for all the different types of drinks – as well as perfecting the art of the milk froth, it’s not as easy as it may seem!
Luckily, our team get that perfect brew every time… it does help when you’ve got coffee beans as good as the ones from our local supplier, Rounton Coffee Roasters.
All of our team here at Bentley’s are masters at coffee making, they’re also fully certified in Food Hygiene and Health & Safety training, so you can rest assured you’re in safe hands when visiting any of our locations.
